friday!

GOSH, i love the weekend. so happy it's here! we don't really have big plans for it, it's supposed to rain tomorrow so that rules out going out on the lake. this weekend is Musky Fest (a Musky is a fish, FYI - the world record size Musky was caught in Hayward in the 20's or 30's and they've really capitalized on it...) but it's a fun festival on Main street, and on Friday and Saturday night they have street dances going on. I really want to go check it out, I just picture that cute dance in "Sweet Home Alabama"! Brad, however, is not so excited...when you grow up here things just aren't that exciting.

ANYWAY. i thought i'd post a couple of proofs from our engagement session this week! our photographer, Kelly, was a brave girl and strapped on a pair of Brad's waders and took some pictures of us on the river. they turned out really well, however....note to self 1.) a white shirt when you're not tan may not be the best idea and 2.) bring a brush cause the humidity just doesn't do anything for you....

so. there they are! and please check out Kelly's website, she's just getting started in wedding photography and i seriously think you would all keel over and die if you knew the deal we were getting :)

2nd item of business - i'm starting the ACV diet. anybody heard of that? it's the Apple Cider Vinegar diet. you have to buy this particular kind of ACV - Bragg's - that's organic and raw. you mix a tablespoon of ACV with 8 oz of water in the morning and at night before your meals. in about a month it's said that you'll definitely see a difference in your weight - not like you just drop all these pounds, but it seems to get red of the excess water weight, bloating, and just generally helps you slim down. it's also supposed to stop any cravings you have. given that our wedding is in a month, i'm up for trying anything quick at this point to lose the little love handles i developed over the winter ;)

Oh my gosh, I love Bragg's! It's an amazing cure-all too - especially for sore throats. And since it's raw and unfiltered, it doesn't taste too bad!

P.S. Your pictures are gorgeous!

Let me know how it tastes. I tried this a while back and it made me gag.... but then again, I did not mix it with anything and just drank it like a shot.
