tonight

i'm going to the Scandinavian (or Lutefisk) dinner at the local Lutheran church!  can't say i'm going cause i just miss Swedish food so badly, but more because one of my tellers is going and she dreams of going to Scandinavia, so i thought it would be a good way to get to know her some more.  i'm always looking for ways that i can get out and be in the community, and food is always a perfect opportunity :)  you can bet i'm wearing my JCrew light blue tissue tee and chunky yellow necklace!  

this week was pretty interesting with the election.  i was very disappointed in the outcome, but it's all said and done with and can't be changed.  there's many reasons why i was supporting mccain, but one of the big reasons was because i felt like he truly loves America and wants to serve it.  in my opinion, obama just has a plan to change everything.  change, change, change.  i agree that there are things that need to change in America, but basing your whole presidency on it is scary.  and that's the end of my soapbox.  

alrighty...i should get going.  it takes 5 minutes to get to the church, so i need to make time for travel!
