sweet thing

this puppy makes my mornings come really early - he sleeps in my room and is up at 4am for his first bathroom break of the day - but he's so dang adorable that i don't even mind.  

my favorite part?  his blue eyes that are positively illuminated when he's outside in the snow.   the baby soft hair on top of his head is a close second, though :)  

well...i'm supposed to be cleaning my house up right now but i'm slightly sidetracked by blogging right now.  i've been listening to "Sweet Thing" by Keith Urban all morning and it's easily my new favorite song.  i've been working a lot this week, but had a good time last night with our friends, Dawn and Mike.  we went to a local bar/restaurant and me and Dawn had "hot toddies" - hot drinks with schnapps in them.  i had a hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps and whipped cream, and she had a hot apple cider with cinnamon schnapps and whipped cream.  it was gooood, and believe, those hot drinks were a necessity!  it's been freezing up in these parts lately.  we're due to get an ice storm/rain tonight, and i'm pretty certain i heard that the high on Monday is 10 degrees.  Georgia, come quickly....
